Surrounded by family, supported by a fabulous palliative care team, Jo died peacefully at home on Monday, September 20 in her 88th year.
A very positive and independent soul, Jo was the biggest fan of her four children, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Carol Annett (Rick Barker) and Nora Murray (Paul) and her sons, Jamie (Joan) and Cam. She is survived by her sisters, Merle Wherrett and Audrey MacKenzie (Ross) and family of Winnipeg. She was the proud grandmother of Alex, Jess and Kate (Barker), Erin (Michael Chaiton- Murray) and Graeme (Murray), Jodie (Paul Cormier), Chris (Taren Annett) and Julie (Trevor Wheeler) as well as great-grandchildren Madison, Reed, Jackson, Addison, Georgia and Ada.
A celebration of Jo's life will be held on Friday, September 24 at 11:00 a.m. at 18 Wanless Ave., Toronto, Party Room, Level 5R. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to VHA Home HealthCare or a charity of your choice.

Mom,just really loved Bruce Beach and after she retired in 1989 she loved to spend her summer's there.
