MORNING BASEBALL:

Morning baseball is for all those kids (12 & under) who enjoy baseball. The facilities
at the North end have guaranteed a fun time for all. Everyone goes home a winner!
The activity takes place from 9.30 am to 10.30 am Monday through Friday every
week during July and August. The ball diamond is located next to the tennis courts
behind Cottage 125. To join in and play, come any day of the week before 9.30
am and bring a glove.

There is a real need for weekly volunteers as our new facilities have attracted a
greater turnout of children. To maintain our continued success, be a volunteer

WEDNESDAY EVENING BASEBALL:

Wednesday night baseball is for youth ages 12 and up from 7 to 8 pm at the baseball
diamond off Ball Park Lane (behind 51 Ball Park Lane). This is a great opportunity
for teenagers to meet and get to know other fellow beachers. This year volunteers
are needed to continue the success of this recreational activity. Diane Bryant at
cottage 71 (395-0548) has organized this activity for the past 5 years and would
like to pass the tradition on to someone else. If you are interested in organizing this
event, please contact Diane and she will explain the process. If no volunteers come
forward then this wonderful opportunity for our youth will be lost. I have loved the
opportunity to meet all the youth from the beach and want to thank them for coming
out and making this weekly evening so much fun. I hope the tradition continues for
future Bruce Beach youth!
