Games Day

Games Day 2007 was once again a rousing success with participants, leaders and
spectators having a fabulous time. First time organizers, Julie Jeffries and Mary
Lucas would like to thank Jeanie Eansor and Diane Bryant for all the time and effort
they spent sharing the secrets of their previous years of organizing experience. A
big thanks also goes to Donna Tiernan and Letizia Pottier for their invaluable
assistance with team organization on Games Day. Thanks to our experienced Team
Leaders, Jessica Tiernan, Matt Bryant, Kate Bryant, Jacklyn Stief, Lauren Stief and
Emily Stief who ensured that all participants had a good time. Finally, thanks to our
new Leaders-In-Training, Katie MacEachern, Nicole Bellemarre, Dane and Jordan
Gregoris, Sarah Tiernan, Allie Johnston and Mary Johnston who were great
assistants and who had a grand time making their Team Leaders into human ice
cream sundaes. Julie and Mary look forward to working with the L.I.T.’s as Leaders
for Games Day 2008.

Come one, come all, to Games Day 2008 taking place on Saturday, July 26th, 9:30
a.m. at.Tout’s Grove. There are games and activities for toddlers (1-4yrs) and team
relays and activities for older children (5-12yrs). Anyone interested in contributing
prizes or helping out should contact Julie Jeffries at cottage 156-2, (519) 396-2838.
