News Release - Lake Simcoe Act

Attached are two notices regarding a new act to protect Lake Simcoe. If the government is reading to protect little Lake Simcoe it should be time to do something about Lake huron and the rest of the Great Lakes.
Please take the time to write to the members of the provincial and federal governments to request that they do something about the condition of Lake Huron. Here are the addresses of the members for our beach area but please also contact your local members.

- VHS is an infectious disease of fish.
- There are several strains of VHS that affect fresh and saltwater fish species.
- VHS disease outbreaks may happen at any time, but are most likely during the spring as temperatures fluctuate and fish are reproducing.
- The Great Lakes strain of the virus is new and appears to be affecting many species of fish including:
