Bluewater Wind Project

Wind turbine The Bluewater Wind Project "includes 3387 hectares of land bounded by Concession 2 in the south, Lake Range Drive on the west, Concession 8, and Provincial Hwy. 21 on the east." It also extends from Hwy. 21 east past Bruce Road 7, north and east of Ripley.

The project is a " grouping of large scale wind turbines connected by a series of underground and overhead cables/transmission lines which will connect to Hydro One's energy distribution centre... near Bruce Power." It could include about 65 huge windmills located on the land east of Bruce Beach, Lurgan and into Point Clark.

This is a collection point on the BBCA web site for all documents, events, links and photo related to the Bluewater Wind Project.
