Wasn't that a Party!!

I hope everyone enjoyed the BBQ on Saturday. A special thanks to all the McCosh Grove neighbours who live within shouting distance of the Club House. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

I think it is high time to recognize Karen Gaudino, Brian Cass, and Creemore Breweries. For years they have supplied (free of charge) the wonderful beer for not only our BBQ but also the Billy Open. If you'd like to show your appreciation maybe the next time you go to buy beer you could purchase something from Creemore Breweries.

Thanks to Jim Grobowsky and the Kincardine Dairy Queen for supplying the Dilly Bars at cost.

A warm thank you to all those who volunteered a bit of their time to make it such a great success. We couldn't have done it without you. Thanks to those who realized that the eventual clean up is massive and took the time to cleanup their area and to help move a table or two nearer the trailers.

I can't thank everyone by name, but a few need special mention. Steve Merker, Mike Buchanan, Dave Newson, Jim Pennington, and Bruce McKelvey thank you for getting up early on Sunday and all the work you did to get the fence down and the tables and chairs stacked on the 4 trailers ready to go back to Ripley. Anne Pottier and Andre Bellmore for everything you did during the set up of the bar, lights etc. as well as the organizing before hand. Sue and Brad Culp, Mike Buchanan, and Dave Newson for the delivery and return of the tables and chairs. Bruce McKelvey for bringing in the balloon lady, much appreciated.

There are about 100 empty wine bottles sitting near the tent in boxes waiting to be returned for refund. I will be doing that on Wednesday unless someone beats me to it (PLEASE BEAT ME TO IT!!).

A financial report on this year's BBQ will soon appear on our web site.

If you have any suggestions on how to improve next year's BBQ please send them to me.
