A driver in Bruce County is facing charges after losing control of their vehicle while diving under the influence.

South Bruce OPP responded to the incident Wednesday night close to 11 p.m. They say a single vehicle crashed into a small brick wall at the intersection of King Street and Main Street in Tiverton.

Police say the driver was found to have been drinking alcohol. They were placed under arrest and taken to a Qualified Intoxilizer Technician for breath tests.

A 26-years-old male from the Municipality of Kincardine was charged with Impaired Driving and Operate over 80 milligrams. The accused is scheduled to appear in court to answer to the charges.
