Kincardine fire investigation expected to wrap up Tuesday

The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office is back at the scene of a fire in Kincardine.

The fire burned through the upper floors of a building on Queen St. early Monday morning.

Clive Hubbard is the investigator on scene.

He tells CKNX News that the investigation will continue through the day through the second and third floors of the building.

The two businesses on the ground floor, West Shore and Becker’s Shoes, are expected to be released to the insurance companies Tuesday.

A cause has not been determined at this point and they are still making sure that the parts of the building, including the roof are structurally sound.

Hubbard expects the investigation to wrap up today.
