As lake trout reappear, a renewed bipartisan focus on the health of the Great Lakes also emerges

A baby lake trout discovered in Lake Erie waters near the Pennsylvania-New York border confirmed that the species, thought to be extinct for 60 years, is now reproducing on its own.
