This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to support our ongoing efforts in tree planting, McLarty Education Centre trails, environmental community projects and programs that create lasting positive change!

Agricultural landowners collaborate with lakeshore residents.
Together with local community groups, we work to achieve a shared vision.
Over the past 25 years, we have delivered on our objectives:
375,000 Seedlings planted – In riparian zones and areas inaccessible for tilling
60,000 Free Seedlings distributed – To local landowners
214 Ash Trees replaced – In lakeshore communities
21 Berm Installations completed
24 kms of Exclusion Fencing installed
12 Livestock Crossings installed
5 Riverbank Restoration projects completed
7 Wetland Enhancements and Restorations completed
Established pollinator garden
Shoreline Reforestation Initiative, which encourages residents to plant native junipers to rebuild dunes and prevent erosion
McLarty Centre Outdoor Education Centre
Scenic Trails – trail system with 2 wetland areas
Photography – capture nature’s beauty
Outdoor Classroom – engage learning with nature conservation activities
Educational Hosting – sun shelter, picnic tables and interpretive story boards
Wildlife Viewing – explore wildlife species in their nature habitat
Bird Watching – great spot with a variety of species to observe
Relaxation – unwind and regroup in nature
The area is an opportunity for local youth organizations, environmental groups, individuals, and families to explore nature in the local environment.
