Say no to nuclear waste in the Great Lakes

We are SOS Great Lakes

We are SOS Great Lakes. Formerly known as Save Our Saugeen Shores, we helped stop an attempt by the Nuclear Waste Management Organization to bury high-level nuclear waste in Saugeen Shores, just north of Kincardine. Now we are concentrating our efforts on stopping the construction of OPG’s nuclear waste dump that is equally threatening to the environment.

On it you will find information based on expert testimony, abundant evidence submitted by critics of the proposal, and sources showing that every attempt in the world to dispose of nuclear waste underground has leaked.
