Beachers

Wanted to let you know that several trees on the 3rd fairway and 4th fairway are on the ground and the vast majority of the cutting has been done.

We will be picking up a chipper tomorrow for the weekend.

The main tasks at the cleanup will be hauling of branches and wood to the chipper, moving and piling wood and raking the fairways where the trees have fallen.

If you can bring a rake and work gloves and if you have hearing protection that would be good for those near the chipper and any chain saws.

Looking forward to a good workday and good weather on Saturday starting at 9:00

Fellow Beachers

As outlined in the BB Yearbook and discussed at the BBCA AGM, we are planning a Work Bee on Oct 1st starting at 9 am, the weekend before Thanksgiving weekend.

Our plan is to remove the dead and dying ash trees south of the 3rd tee and also along the 4th fairway.  A few day prior to October 1st, we have arranged to Tom Karrow to drop several trees.  During the Work Bee we will cut the body wood and chip all the branches into the low area south of the equipment shed.

Any and all help would be most appreciated!

Please let me know by email if you plan to attend so we can plan accordingly.  I know this is an early notification and we will send a reminder closer to the Work Bee date.
