Anne Frazer Moffatt | May 21, 1931 - March 2, 2023

Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, Anne Moffatt (nee McKillop) left this life on March 2, to join her husband, Don, whom she had dearly missed for the past 5 years. She was the beloved mother of her 3 daughters, Sue (Rob Brison), Barb (Doug Dunlop) and Nancy; grandmother of Meg (Scott Symes) and Mike; and great-grandmother of Jack and Evan (Symes). She was pre-deceased by her older brother, John McKillop.

PUGH, Marjorie "Marny" L. - Cottage 81

MARJORIE “MARNY” L. PUGH, age 94, died Monday, December 14, 2020 at StoryPoint in Troy, Ohio.  She was born May 2, 1926 in Piqua, Ohio to the late Fred and Agnes (Morgan) Wadsworth.

She is survived by daughters: Debi Sacks of Glen Echo, MD and Cyndy (Dennis) Burt of Troy; son: Jamie (Kim) Pugh of Ludlow Falls, Ohio; six grandchildren: Brad (Samantha) Pugh, Kati (Ben) Redick, Julie (Sean) Fellers, Gordon Burt, Morgan (Travis) Gulker and Davis Sacks; and six great grandchildren: Mia, Sadie, Emma, Addie, Tripp and Elouise.  In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband: Robert, in 2016; brother: Robert Wadsworth; and sister: Elizabeth Wadsworth Zimmerman.

MAC GREGOR, Malcolm Herbert - Cottage 103

On Friday, April 19th, 2019, Malcolm Herbert Mac Gregor, loving husband to Eleanor D. Mac Gregor, passed away at nearly 93-years of age. Malcolm was born on April 24, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan, as the oldest of three sons born to Herbert Mac Gregor and Mary Horvath. Malcolm served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and then enrolled at the University of Michigan in 1946, where he graduated in 1953 with a BA in mathematics, and an MA and PhD in physics. During those years he met his wife, Eleanor, won her heart by playing Clare de Lune on the piano, and married her in 1943.

ZELLERMEYER, Valerie (née Syms) - Cottage 139

VALERIE ZELLERMEYER (née Syms) It is with great sorrow that the family of Valerie Zellermeyer (née Syms) announces her passing on April 15, 2019 at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Valerie was born in Hamilton, New Zealand in 1944, but grew up near Mount Eden, in Auckland. Following in her big sister June's footsteps, Valerie trained in nursing. Like any good Kiwi, after graduating from nursing school she did extensive travelling through Australia, the United Kingdom and Europe.

EATON, Shirley Anne (née Reid) - Cottage 61

Mom died peacefully on Sunday, April 7, 2019, 3 weeks shy of her 87th Birthday. She will be deeply missed by her loving children David (Lindsay), Doug (Emily), Catherine (Peter) and Bruce. Dear grandmother of Sarah, Paige, Andrew, Kirk, Cody, Thomas, Dylan, Isabella, Cameron and step grandmother to Madi. Shirley was predeceased by her husband of 30 years John Eaton aka “Fred”, She was the only child of her predeceased parents, Dr. Roy Reid DDS and Pearl Reid.

WOOLFORD, Paul - Cottage 94

It is with great sadness, the family announces the passing of Paul on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Paul, beloved husband of Joanne.

Loving and devoted father of Nathan (partner Sarah Goegan) and Stephanie (partner Jakob Page) and Chanel (dog). Son of Fred (spouse Patricia) and Carolyn (partner Rob Paton); brother of Scott (partner Michael Godfrey); son-in-law of Lee and Marlene Klingbyle; brother-in-law of Heather Mykytiw and Bonnie Bridgewater (partner Gary Meloche); survived by several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

BRUCE, Stuart Benson - Cottage 5

Peacefully, on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, Dr. Stuart Benson Bruce of London, in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis (Johnson; 2009). Cherished father of Katherine Bruce (David Smythe), Audrey Bruce (Bruce Campbell), Alison Bruce (Robert Meyers), David Bruce (Heather Murray), and Elizabeth Bruce (Brian Flynn). Dear grandfather of 8 grandchildren. Missed by 2 nieces, Andrea and Julie. Stuart was practicing Ophthalmology in the city of London, graduating from Queens University, with specialist training from Harvard University. He was also an elder at Oakridge Presbyterian Church.

CAMERON, William M. - Cottage 119

Peacefully at Huron Residential Hospice on Monday November 12, 2018. William M. Cameron of Goderich in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Grace (Stewart) Cameron. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and their families. A graveside service will be held at Durham Road Cemetery in the spring. Donations to Knox Presbyterian Church or St. George's Anglican Church gratefully acknowledged.

MACEACHERN, Ian Allan - Cottages 32 & 41

 

Born June 25, 1920, died peacefully in his sleep in his 98th year on November 13, 2018. Survived by his children Dawn (David) Campbell, Brian (Evelina) MacEachern, Laurie (John) Hamilton, and RuthAnne (Bernard) MacEachern; his grandchildren Lindsay (Randy) McMaster, Leslie (Jaime) Coulter, Shawn MacEachern and Kaitlyn MacEachern; and his great grandchildren Lauren McMaster, Ryan McMaster, Charlotte Coulter and Casey Coulter.
