Son of Fred (spouse Patricia) and Carolyn (partner Rob Paton); brother of Scott (partner Michael Godfrey); son-in-law of Lee and Marlene Klingbyle; brother-in-law of Heather Mykytiw and Bonnie Bridgewater (partner Gary Meloche); survived by several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Peacefully, on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, Dr. Stuart Benson Bruce of London, in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis (Johnson; 2009). Cherished father of Katherine Bruce (David Smythe), Audrey Bruce (Bruce Campbell), Alison Bruce (Robert Meyers), David Bruce (Heather Murray), and Elizabeth Bruce (Brian Flynn). Dear grandfather of 8 grandchildren. Missed by 2 nieces, Andrea and Julie. Stuart was practicing Ophthalmology in the city of London, graduating from Queens University, with specialist training from Harvard University. He was also an elder at Oakridge Presbyterian Church.

DUNKLEY, Rev. George A. C. - (Mus.Bac., M.Mus., A.R.C.T., F.T.C.L.) - Of Mississauga, Ontario, passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord in the early morning of Saturday 10 November 2018, after a difficult struggle with pancreatic cancer, which, even in the last few months of his life, did not diminish his zeal for helping others in their times of need.

Marguerite Anne Olson (Manson), of 169 Bruce Beach Road, Kincardine, born November 16, 1929, Dundas, Ontario, passed away July 28, 2018. Daughter of Gordon Alexander and Anna Isabell Manson (McDonald). Predeceased by brother John (Tally). Predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Theodore (Ted) Joseph Olson. She will be missed dearly by her three children, Jay, Jan (Heather) and Marnie (Andy), six grandchildren, Alexander, Graham, Douglas, Jenna, Sarah (Omar) and Bradford, and great-grandchild, Adam.

John Donald Moffatt

After a rewarding life, and knowing he was loved by his family, friends and God, John Donald Moffatt (“Dint”) passed from this world to the next on Tuesday, July 3.  He was the son of Elizabeth and J. Melvin Moffatt and brother of Robert and Marjorie, who have gone before him. He and his wife Anne (nee McKillop) were classmates in the Western University School of Business graduating in 1953. Together they raised Sue (Rob Brison), Barb (Doug Dunlop) and Nancy who were blessed by their wise advice and endless support. He was a loving and playful grandfather to Meg (Scott Symes) and Mike, and enjoyed the energy of his great grand-children Evan and Jack Symes. In his careers with Simpsons Sears and later Dow Chemical, he modeled integrity and genuine friendship at work. He was a cheerful curler and was never happier than when he was in a boat, ideally at Bruce Beach.  He truly cherished all the good times and people in his life.  A devoted member of the Presbyterian Church, particularly St. Andrews in Etobicoke, and more recently Knox in Waterloo, he lived his faith.

Mary JoyceIn her 100th year, Mary Joyce passed away peacefully in her own home where she lived an active life to the end. She was born in Hamilton to Rev. W. Harry and Sophie Sedgewick; grew up in Toronto with her siblings Margaret, Eleanor and Mackenzie; and after graduating from the University of Toronto where she was the only woman in the 1940 Maths and Physics program, she moved to Ottawa with her husband Walter Stevenson Joyce in 1945, as he began his career in teaching.

On April 18, 2018 in Saint John, New Brunswick at the age of 75 after a prolonged illness.  Predeceased by her parents, Reverend Dr. Gordon S. and Anne E. Maxwell (nee Storie) and her sister Mary Anne Reid (nee Maxwell).  Survived by her brother James Maxwell, sister-in-law Beverley Maxwell and brother-in-law William Reid.  Proud aunt to Paige Maxwell and Bryan Reid.  Born and raised in Ontario, Lynn had a lifelong fondness for the family cottage at Bruce Beach on Lake Huron.  Most of her adult life was spent in New Brunswick where she fell in love with the landscape and the people.
