Slew of prizes up for grabs during Lucknow's Music in the Fields

Plans are ramping up for this year’s Music in the Fields, including new activities and competitions.
“We have some fun day programming set up for the weekend,” Cheryl Johnston, marketing director for Lucknow’s Music in the Fields (LMITF), said of this year’s festival, being held at Graceland Festival Grounds in Lucknow from Aug. 22 to 24. “There will be a rock-climbing wall, inflatable water slide and obstacle course. We will also be putting on a ‘Sepoy Games’ team competition. We are hoping to get 10 teams of six (mix of males and females) to compete Friday and Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. Events will be Zorb Soccer, Arrow Tag, Tug of War, to name a few. The winning team will win a cool prize.”
There is also a competition where contestants will be given pucks to shoot into an open dryer. The person with the most to go into the dryer each day will win a special prize. Read More
