The For Our Youth (FOY) horticulture club was thrilled to have a warm, sunny day to gather for our June meeting at the McLarty Centre. We had to cancel last year’s meeting due to thunder and lightning, so we were extra glad to be back at this wonderful outdoor learning

A 77-year-old Kincardine resident died following a crash Sunday morning in Huron County. The single motor vehicle crash in the Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh happened shortly after 9 a.m., a Huron County OPP news release said. Due to forecasted thunderstorms on Canada Day, Kincardine’s fireworks have been postponed until Aug. 15. The July 1 fireworks were originally postponed to July 3 because of the threat of severe weather. However, during the Canada Day storm, heavy rain and strong winds damaged some of the fireworks and equipment
