During the First World War, from 1914 to 1918, Canada sent 650,000 of its finest soldiers to fight for God and country; 61,000 never returned home. When the war ended on Nov. 11, 1918, the bells rang out throughout all of Canada heralding the restoration of peace and freedom in the world. And if you had let your nose lead you, you would undoubtedly been made welcome at the 3rd Annual Highland Drive Family & Friends Potluck & Pig Roast, magnificently hosted this year by Becky Grieveson and James Turland.
