Susan lost her battle against cancer and passed away July 11, 2015 in Attleboro, Massachusetts surrounded by her loving family. Sue is survived by her husband David Mochi and her three sons Jason, Christopher and Ben and her extended Yates families.
Sue loved the water and spent summers boating in the waters of Narragansett Bay and Cape Cod and the Islands, and winter vacations in Florida touring Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico. She loved the tranquility of Bruce Beach and had no greater love than sitting on the beach with a good book, or floating on raft. If you didn’t know Sue you probably had to walk around her beach chair pulled up to the water’s edge in front of the cottage where she would sit for hours reading and watching her kids swim. Sue loved the music of the 70’s and especially The Eagles. She was a true New Englander with her heavy Boston accent and a direct descendent of John Adams. Sue was an avid Boston Red Sox fan but loved her New England Patriots and went to every home game as a season ticket holder.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday July 16th at 6 pm at the Sherman Jackson Funeral Home in Mansfield, Massachusetts. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 5 Manley St., Bridgewater, MA. 02379
