Marguerite Anne Olson (Manson), of 169 Bruce Beach Road, Kincardine, born November 16, 1929, Dundas, Ontario, passed away July 28, 2018. Daughter of Gordon Alexander and Anna Isabell Manson (McDonald). Predeceased by brother John (Tally). Predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Theodore (Ted) Joseph Olson. She will be missed dearly by her three children, Jay, Jan (Heather) and Marnie (Andy), six grandchildren, Alexander, Graham, Douglas, Jenna, Sarah (Omar) and Bradford, and great-grandchild, Adam.

Marguerite obtained her Honors B.A. from McMaster and a Master of Education from the University of Toronto. When first married, she served as part of the RCAF communities at RCAF Station Greenwood, N.S., Keesler US AFB, Biloxi, Mississippi, and RCAF Station Clinton, Ontario. Later, Marguerite was a teacher/librarian for 30 years at Wedgwood Public School in Toronto. She first came to Bruce Beach in 1936 and spent many happy summers there. With Ted, she became a year-round Bruce Beach resident in 1990.
