Robert C. Warren of Bingham Farms died December 26, 2014, at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He was 84 years old. Robert was born June 2, 1930, in Flint, to Frances (nee Taylor) and Charles Warren. He was raised in Detroit and graduated from Cooley High School. Robert attended Albion College and received his Bachelors Degree from Wayne State University.
Robert married Dorothy Bowen on June 13, 1953. He was a member of Northbrook Presbyterian Church, Men’s Connection, Lathrup Village Lions Club and owner of Jesse W. Eakins in Oak Park. Robert was an avid stamp collector and enjoyed reading and tennis. He especially enjoyed time spent with his family at their cottage in Canada.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy and children, Kim (Craig) Adams, Dave (Jane) Warren, and Rick Warren. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Daniel, Jeffrey, Kevin (Jennifer) and Casey, great-grandchildren, Dayna and Beth, sister, Barbara (Frank) Keenan and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Friends may visit at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Road (between 14-15 Mile Rds.) Tuesday 4-8pm. A Memorial Service will be held at Northbrook Presbyterian Church, 22055 W. Fourteen Mile Road, Beverly Hills, Wednesday at 11am.
