A recent decision by the Ontario Court of Appeal has disturbing implications for owners of such vehicles as ATVs. The case in question involved a young person who suffered a brain injury when the ATV she was operating hit a tree. The injured person’s boyfriend had turned over operation of the ATV to her, even though she was inexperienced. The boyfriend’s father owned the ATV. (By Pauline Kerr)
