Bruce County has agreed to help fund the Grey Transit Route service between Owen Sound and Wiarton until the end of the year, but has stated that without financial support from the province, the route is not sustainable.

The report presented to Bruce County council on March 21 provided stated that Grey Transit Route (GTR) began running in 2020 with funding from a Province of Ontario Community Transportation grant. The provincial funding for the entire program will end on March 31, 2025. (By Pauline Kerr)
