There are two things you should know about this plan.
- Every attempt in the world to bury nuclear waste has failed to contain its deadly contents.
- More than 40 million people rely on the Great Lakes for drinking water.

Information on the Emerald Ash Borer
The EAB has killed millions of trees in southwestern Ontario since 2002. This highly destructive insect poses a significant economic and environmental threat to all forests and urban areas. The EBA attacks all species of ash (except the Mountain Ash-not a true ash). Here's some information on the signs to look for, and some resources for inoculations, if you wish to try and save your ash tree.

Now that the big weekend of the BB BBQ and the BB AGM is behind us, I wanted to remind everyone of the BB Golf Club Fundraiser.
Again this year there will be a scramble at Ainsdale on Saturday August 20 at 1:00pm and this will be followed by a BBQ Dinner at the Bruce Beach Golf Club Clubhouse.
The Junior Golf Tournament will be this Saturday August 6 at 9:30 am at the clubhouse. It is a chip, putt, drive competition and the children are divided into groups by skill level. The cost is $5.00 per child which includes a hotdog lunch and loot bags.
Wasn't that a Party!!
I hope everyone enjoyed the BBQ on Saturday. A special thanks to all the McCosh Grove neighbours who live within shouting distance of the Club House. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
I think it is high time to recognize Karen Gaudino, Brian Cass, and Creemore Breweries. For years they have supplied (free of charge) the wonderful beer for not only our BBQ but also the Billy Open. If you'd like to show your appreciation maybe the next time you go to buy beer you could purchase something from Creemore Breweries.

Huff/Clark Ball Park behind cottage 51
The weekend is nigh upon us and one of the big events of the summer is about to be played. What am I talking about? Well the North South championship ball game of course. Come one come all. Baseball players and of course the fans. It is guaranteed to be one to remember. The warm up game starts at 9:00AM then the big event gets underway at 9:30. After the game and the tears and cheers there will be pictures taken and trophies to be awarded. Don't you just love it.
