Partners Saugeen Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) and Bruce Community Futures Development Corporation (Bruce CFDC) are once again hosting Hawks’ Nest, inspired by the TV show Dragons’ Den, where entrepreneurs from different sectors pitch their business ideas in exchange for financial support from local “Hawk” investors.

Alberta Grace Munro (née Wightman) passed away peacefully at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Kincardine on Dec. 21, 2024, at the age of 84.
Beloved wife of Vaughn Munro for over 55 years.
Fondly remembered by stepsons Michael and David, granddaughters Leila, Jena and their seven children, and by many other family members and friends.
Alberta will be remembered as a kind and gentle soul with a quick wit and beautiful smile. She loved to help others and was able to do this through her efforts as a member of many organizations. Alberta was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority
