(By Liz Small) The vacant council seat for the Municipality of Kincardine was filled at a special meeting held in council chambers on Nov. 6, with Stellina Williams as the successful candidate.

DARLENE WHITFIELD

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Darlene Kaye Whitfield (née Manthorne, Murdoch) on Aug. 22, 2024, after a stroke and arthritis/severe degenerative bone disease. Darlene was 75 years of age.

Nine members of the Kincardine Karate Dojo, ranging in age from eight to over 40, white belt to brown, took part in a tournament in Trenton on Oct. 26, bringing home 13 medals.
