Elizabeth Jane Bondy, RN BScN, pictured on her 88th birthday in September 2020, died suddenly at home on November 25 in Goderich, ON. She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Dr. Donald Bondy, daughters Anne and Susan, son-in-law Jim De Ferrari, and grandchildren Jack De Ferrari and Samantha Lowe.
Jane was a Registered Nurse and nursing instructor in Boston, Mass, and London, ON, then an employment counsellor with Leeds Employment Services, and was very active in the Garden Club of London for many years. Jane was a lifelong, voracious reader, feeding her keen intelligence and incisive wit. Many of her favourite times were spent at her family cottage in McCosh Grove at Bruce Beach.
Donations can gratefully be made to the AMGH (Alexandra Marine and General Hospital) Foundation in Goderich. A private family service will be held on December 4 in Goderich.
