Beach Postings Removed, Beaches Safe for Bathing

Water samples taken at Black Creek (also known as Old Woman’s River), Northern Bruce Peninsula and Station Park Beach, Kincardine, show results within acceptable levels according to Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care standards.

The Grey Bruce Health Unit took samples on Monday, September 8, 2014. Based on these results, the beaches, which were posted as unsafe on August 28, are now deemed safe for bathing.

Although this latest sample result shows acceptable results, the public is reminded that water conditions can change quickly. High winds and heavy rain are likely to have an adverse impact on water quality.

Beach information on our website is updated as conditions change at:  Current Status Listings
