Liz and I wanted to let you know the details of our upcoming Paisley Concert Choir Christmas concerts.
It is a great program with a variety of music. Details are listed below in our press release. Please note there is a Saturday matinee concert in Owen Sound, which might be of interest to those that prefer not to drive at night.
If you are interested and able to attend, we have tickets available and can get them to you. We can also reserve tickets for you at the door.

Paisley Concert Choir, Christmas Concert 2015
It’s that time of year when we can all get caught up in the busyness of our schedules and our lives. Why not take some time out to listen to some great music?
The Paisley Concert Choir (PCC) will present a wonderful, lively and varied program in their upcoming concert “Colours of Christmas” that will get you in the mood for the holiday season. The program features a mix of traditional carols, fun Christmas songs, a classical piece, a medley of spirituals, a gospel rock tune, and songs of peace, grace, hope and freedom.
Concerts, under the direction of Linda Finlay and accompanied by Jane Siegel, will take place Friday November 27th at 7:30 pm in Hanover, Saturday November 28th at 2:00 pm in Owen Sound and Sunday November 29th at 7:30 pm in Paisley.
Christmas selections include: Ding, Dong! Merrily on High; A Very, Very, Merry, Merry Christmas; Run To The Stable; and Long Ago In Bethlehem. And, just for fun, “Yes, Virginia (There’s a Santa Claus). The spiritual medley features Rise Up Shepherd and Follow, Behold That Star, Sweet Little Jesus Boy and Go Tell It On The Mountain in a very dynamic, dramatic arrangement.
You will be inspired by: Hayden’s Agnus Dei, the last movement from his Little Organ Mass; a powerful arrangement of We Shall Overcome; and From A Distance made popular by Bette Middler. Gonna Rise Up Singin’ will have you rockin’ in the aisles.
So come hear some glorious music and share the spirit of the season with friends, family and neighbours. Please mark your calendars for “Colours of Christmas” Tickets are available from choir members or at the door before each concert. Tickets are $15. Children 18 years and younger are free of charge
