Passed peacefully surrounded by love after overseeing one last impassioned round of her beloved Scrabble game played at her bedside by her 3 daughters.
Throughout her active life, Sally followed her heart of gold and brought her beautiful smile, tireless energy and infectious humour with her wherever she went.
Our sweet, loving mother passed away.
Mom had been active and walking up till the day she died. My sisters and I feel exceptionally blessed to have had her as our mother. Three days earlier, Mom attended our early Finlayson Family Christmas. She was in fine form, the leader of three progressively younger generations and the centre of attention.

On December 17, 2022, William ‘Warren’ McBurney passed away at University Gates Retirement Residence in Waterloo in his 87th year. He was a loving father to his three daughters, Margaret Thomas (Phil), Alison Dunn (Glen), and Jennifer Skinner (Don), and a devoted grandfather to Lynn, Neil (Alyssa), Graham (Emma), Leah (Tyler), Luke, Indigo, and Jasper, as well as great-grandfather to Fox, AJ, and Wray. He is rejoined with June, his wife of 63 years who passed away in May of this year, his parents William and Ruth, his brother Jim, and sister Liz and survived by his sister Marge.
On Sunday the 9th of October from 9AM to 10AM there will be a fun hockey game at the Ripley Arena between a number of cottagers and friends.

Born November 19, 1931, shaped by the Scottish-Canadian neighbourhood of Bowie Avenue in Toronto.
Passed away peacefully on September 8, 2022 at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine.
Survived by his son Watson (Nini), nieces Nancy (Wayne) Feasby, Diane, Kathleen (Don) Gillespie and nephew David Ault; Susan (John) Gauch.
Predeceased by his wife Ruth Joanne Morris (nee Langdon), sister Joan and brother-in-law Ted Ault, cousins Betty ( Bill) Shaw, Bill (Evelyn) Paul.
I sent the following request to all the Huron-Kinloss candidates that are running for seats on Council. That includes the positions of Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Councillors.
My decision to run for council is based on a desire to play a larger part in the community. I am recently retired and have more time to focus on local issues and believe my experiences in industry as a tradesman would be of assistance in a councillor role.
My biggest concerns which require immediate attention are health care, our food supply and housing for the young adults and elderly as well.
I have been a Municipal councillor for 19 years. During this time I have served on the following boards: medical centre, fire, and recreation .
I am 56 years old and have lived in Lucknow and surrounding area for over 45 years. My wife Belinda of 37 years and I have raised our 4 children in our community.
We have run a successful construction company for over 30 years and continue to do so with my son Daniel.
