In her 100th year, Mary Joyce passed away peacefully in her own home where she lived an active life to the end. She was born in Hamilton to Rev. W. Harry and Sophie Sedgewick; grew up in Toronto with her siblings Margaret, Eleanor and Mackenzie; and after graduating from the University of Toronto where she was the only woman in the 1940 Maths and Physics program, she moved to Ottawa with her husband Walter Stevenson Joyce in 1945, as he began his career in teaching.

Predeceased by her parents, Reverend Dr. Gordon S. and Anne E. Maxwell (nee Storie) and her sister Mary Anne Reid (nee Maxwell). Survived by her brother James Maxwell, sister-in-law Beverley Maxwell and brother-in-law William Reid. Proud aunt to Paige Maxwell and Bryan Reid. Born and raised in Ontario, Lynn had a lifelong fondness for the family cottage at Bruce Beach on Lake Huron. Most of her adult life was spent in New Brunswick where she fell in love with the landscape and the people.
LAWSON, Gordon Walter Born February 15, 1924, died March 30, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Margaret "Peggy" (Ross), his brother Melbourne (Barbara), and his sister Norma (Bob Chamberlin). He leaves behind his son Peter (Winnie Doyle) and daughters Alex and Kelly and granddaughter Meghan (Chris Daw). Gord lived for most of his life in Hamilton, a city he loved and knew intimately. He was raised on Delaware Avenue, and attended Adelaide Hoodless Public School and Central High School.
CULLEY,Mary Elizabeth Culley (née Lane) - September 16 1928- February 4 2018. Passed away peacefully in her 90th year at Scarborough and Rouge Valley Hospital.Predeceased by husband Ross Culley. Mary was the eldest of Andrew and Jessie Lane's four children, and is survived by her sister Agnes Campbell-Rogers and brothers Gordon (Hazel) and Ronald (Marian) Lane.She will be dearly remembered by nieces nephews,grandnieces and nephews, Lane and Culley relatives and friends. A private memorial service has been held. Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Toronto in Mary's memory would be appreciated. Margot “Ann” Lichtenberg (née Morrison), of Kincardine, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, on Tuesday, January 16th, 2018, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Thorpe “Mate” Lichtenberg (1990). Loving mother of Sally (Bill Smith) Lichtenberg of Kincardine and Thorpe (Kelly) Lichtenberg of South Riding, Virginia. Remembered by her sisters-in-law Mary Morrison of Thunder Bay and Jean Lichtenberg of Royal Oak, Michigan. Cherished grandmother of Lydia, Margot, Thorpe, Tyler, Emily, Ben and Hilary. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her parents George & Nan Morrison and brother George Morrison.

Robert John Rohloff November 4, 1930 - December 24, 2017 The oldest of the four children born to John and Evelyn Rohloff (Lyn, Carol and Gregg) and the last of them to pass away, Bob was a source of strength to his parents, his siblings, his spouses and friends, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, those who worked with him over his long career in the oil business and for those who knew him as a skier, a photographer, a dog lover, a woodworker, a builder of model airplanes, a geologist and - through many years - as a sailor and explorer.

Ken passed away peacefully in his sleep at Kensington Gardens after a long battle with dementia. Son of the late Gerald Oswald Loach and Helen Davidson Loach. Beloved husband of Jackie Baker Loach for 40 years. Cherished father of David Loach and Megan Loach Tomulka (Mitch). Grandfather to Richard Langton Tomulka. Dear brother to Elizabeth Ridgely (late Gordon Ridgely). Uncle to Justine Ridgely Taylor (Douglas), Zachary Ridgely (Laura Adamo), and Duncan Ridgely. Great-uncle to Sophia, Ben and Luke. Special godfather to James Pierce Langton Lynn.
Helen Bernice Schweiter (née Taillon) of Kincardine passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine on Thursday, October 5th 2017 in her 94th year.
Born in Longueil, Quebec on April 18th, 1924, Helen worked as a secretary for Pratt-Whitney Aviation where she met her future husband.
Beloved wife of the late Eugene Schwietzer who predeceased her in February 2007.
Helen will be fondly remembered by several cousins and many Kincardine and area friends, especially Shirley Lyons and Grant and Carol Collins.
