HARRISON, Allen Winston - 1930-2014 Passed away peacefully, at the Dorothy Ley Hospice on September 23, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Anne. Cherished father of Timothy and Jeremy, and daughters in law Sara and Ann. Wonderful grandfather to Penina, Menachem, Chana, Zvi, Dinah, and Rochel.
It was a thrilling game that ended in a 5-5 tie and went to a shootout with Bruce Beach's Stu Murdock scoring the only goal in the shootout for the win!

Crying Over Spilled Oil
Oil disasters like the Exxon Valdez and Deep Water Horizon are nightmares that we on the Great Lakes have not had to worry about. At least not yet.
But recent developments in the oil transportation industry compel us to pay attention to proposed and existing oil routes in the Great Lakes region.
Attached is information pertaining to your eligibility to participate in this election.
A person is entitled to vote if on Voting Day if the person;
- Is a Canadian Citizen
- Is at least 18 years old
- Resides in the Township of Huron-Kinloss, or is the owner or tenant of land in Huron-Kinloss, or the spouse of such an individual.
- Is not prohibited from voting under the Municipal Elections Act or other law.
There is no vote for council. All present council members have been acclaimed.

Consensus eludes nuclear dump hearings After lengthy public hearings, the debate over a proposed nuclear waste storage site moves to Ottawa when a federal panel submits its recommendations on the plan.
Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., today introduced a Senate resolution urging the administration to oppose a Canadian proposal to build a permanent nuclear waste repository in the Great Lakes Basin. The measure is a companion resolution to one introduced by Rep. Dan Kildee, D-Flint, earlier this month. The Senate resolution is co-sponsored by Sens. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., Mark Kirk, R-Ill., and Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis.
