The first annual Steps that Give Back: Joey Havers Memorial Walk held on June 13 generated $10,554 for the Wingham and District Hospital. The new event was created by Mary Havers in honour of her brother, Joey, a beloved member of the Wingham community known for his kindness and generosity

A local author’s debut project will support survivors of domestic abuse. Kiara Jane Markle is set to launch her debut poetry anthology, Paperwork of a Ghost: A Survivor’s Blueprint. A collection of 60 poems, the book documents her 20-year journey through childhood trauma, system navigation, and building a safe life from scratch.
